Some of what we do.
-
Enrichment Programs.
Core to our mission as a PTA, is supporting the school in the successful education of our children. Enrichment programs are the hands-on learning experiences we bring to all the students of PS166Q.
-
Picture Day.
Each year, we help to make Picture Day at school as seamless as possible. Our volunteer parents get your kiddos ready for that awesome portrait that you and your child will be proud of.
-
Social Events.
Throughout the year, our goal is to unite parents, children, and our community through fun events at our school. Help us create happy memories for our children!
-
Equitable School Supplies.
This program is one of our most appreciated efforts. Every student at PS166Q gets the same school supplies based on their teacher’s needs and we all contribute to make it possible.
What you can do.
-
Help Organize Events.
Whether online or in person, we always need parents to help out with spreading the word or guiding students here or there. You don’t have a to be an Event Planner to lend a hand.
-
Contribute to Auction.
Whether you give time by helping to manage the fundraising event, or ask a local business for a donation, the PTA needs volunteer parents to make this annual event a success.
-
Join a Committee.
The PTA is 100% volunteer. As parents, you’re already a member of the PTA. If you’re able to contribute some time throughout the year, consider joining a committee.
-
Support and Share.
Throughout the year, we have many opportunities to support the PTA, and in turn, support your children’s school experience. The more we share those opportunities with family and friends, the more we can raise for our school.
